Andrew G. Gugliuzza

Andrew Gugliuzza, 44, of Rotterdam, NY, passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2025. Born on November 12, 1980, in Schenectady, NY, he was the son of Janice LaBelle and Gary Gugliuzza. Andy graduated from Scotia-Glenville High School, after which he worked as a chef at various area restaurants, including the Van Dyke. Most recently, he was involved in remodeling and handyman work with his family. He was a devoted caregiver, especially to his late grandmother, Viola. He loved animals, enjoyed fishing, and took pleasure in cooking for others. He will be remembered as a loyal, loving son, grandson, brother, uncle, and friend, and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Andy is survived by his parents, Janice LaBelle and Gary Gugliuzza (Laurel); his brother, Jerry LaBelle; his sisters, Melissa Fitzpatrick (Ryan), Breanna Colon Serrano (Efrain), Anna Benninger (Jake), and Sarah Lux (Jacob); multiple nieces and nephews; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is predeceased by his sister, Renee LaBelle-Rizzo, and his grandparents, Raymond Currier, Elizabeth Currier, Anthony Gugliuzza, and Viola Gugliuzza.

Arrangements have been entrusted to DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 11th, at 10 AM at Church of the Immaculate Conception on Route 50 in Glenville, NY, with a Mass of Christian Burial immediately following at 11 AM.
