Andrew A Dagostino

Schenectady- Andrew A. Dagostino, 89, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on June 14, 2020 after a brief illness. Born in Schenectady, Andrew was the son of the late Angelo and Rose (Morinelli) Dagostino. Andrew retired from the N.Y.S. Department of Transportation after 40 plus years of service. He was an avid outdoorsman. He loved fishing, hunting, bicycling, and hiking. He was a Korean War Veteran. Above all he was a proud father, husband, and grandfather. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Jean (Weaver) Dagostino, his children; Michael A. Dagostino, Gina M. Parson, and his five grandchildren, Michael Jr., Matthew, Elisa, Michael, and Marishka, his sister, Caroline Salerno, and numerous cousins and a nephew. A memorial service will be held at a later date due to the Covid pandemic. Memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Protective Foundation on Maple Ave, Scotia, NY.
