Albert J Dominelli

Rotterdam - Albert J. Dominelli, 94, passed away at Ellis Hospital with his family by his side on Saturday, January 5th, 2019. Albert was born in Schenectady to the late Anthony and Helen (Izykowski) Dominelli. He was a graduate of Draper High School and Albany Business College, and honorably served his country in the US Navy during World War II. For 35 years, Al worked as a cost accountant at the General Electric Co. Al was an avid poker player and horse racing enthusiast and also enjoyed playing golf and bowling. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Ida (Mongillo) Dominelli and his brother, James Dominelli. Al leaves behind his children, William Dominelli (Robin) and Linda Kardas (Larry), his grandchildren, Christine Dominelli, William J. Dominelli (Leslee), Jessica Brinkmann and Stephen Brinkmann as well as 5 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be private. Contributions in Al's name may be made to Community Hospice, 310 S.
