Agnes Patricia Navin Fuller, age 93, died at the Glendale Nursing Home on September 26, 2016. Agnes was born and raised in Schenectady, New York where she lived for most of her life. She was the daughter of the late Michael and Ellen Bradley Navin. Agnes grew up with her four older sisters, Margaret (Peggy), Catherine (Kay), Helen, and her younger sister, Elizabeth (Betty). The five Navin girls all went to Draper High School. Of the five sisters, she is survived by Helen, age 95 lives in Canton, Georgia and Betty, age 91 lives in Schenectady. Agnes was married to Austin “Bud” Douglas Fuller, whom passed away on September 21, 1992. They were married on May 1, 1941. She is survived by her two daughters and one son, along with eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. Her eldest daughter, Elizabeth Jean Dessingue lives with her husband, Darrell near Longs, SC. Elizabeth has three grown children, Darrell James of Indian Lake, New York, Brenda Jean of South Carolina, and Michael Joseph of Clearwater, Florida. Eileen Fuller Angilletta, widow to Donald John Angilletta, lives in Oregon. Eileen has a son, Dennis Michael Angilletta of Seattle and a daughter, Michelle Renee’ Angilletta of Florence, Oregon. Agnes’ son Richard Douglas Fuller lives in Schenectady with his wife April Marie Walsh Fuller, their daughter, Morgan Shea Fuller, and Heather Ballard and Zach Ballard, both from Schenectady. Agnes was a wonderful pianist, entertaining friends and family for most of her life. She and Bud were excellent dancers and the family enjoyed seeing them dance at weddings and family gatherings. After Bud passed away, Agnes continued to dance with her friends at the Senior Center. Agnes was a jazz enthusiast and loved going to Proctors Theatre to see Broadway shows. While under the kind and patient care of the Glendale Nursing Home Union Station Staff, she was frequently visited by her loving nieces, nephews, friends, and her sister Betty. She enjoyed playing Bingo and listening to music while living there. Agnes was a devoted Roman Catholic and rarely did one see her without her rosary in her hands, especially as she got older. She was a generous and good natured woman that will truly be missed by all. A calling our will be held on Friday morning from 8:30 – 9:30 am at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Ave. followed at 10 am by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Gabriel’s Church. Entombment will be at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery in Niskayuna.
