Adelaide “Addie” Boyark (82), of Rotterdam, NY, passed away August 5, 2025, surrounded by family. She is now reunited in heaven with her beloved husband, Chuckie.
From her self-employed career as a Cosmetologist to later working at Schalmont Central School District—Addie made friendships that stood the test of time. Addie was a woman of deep faith, whose unwavering devotion to God and Our Lady Queen of Peace carried her through every chapter of life with strength, hope, and purpose. Addie will be remembered for her fiery spirit and the fierce love she gave as a wife, mother, and grandmother. Her family was her greatest joy, and to them, she was lovingly known as “Mima.” Her door was always open and her kitchen always full. It was the heart of her home, where recipes became traditions, stories flowed as easily as laughter, and memories that were made will be treasured forever.
She is survived by her children Todd Boyark (Charity), Tricia (Corey) Lewandowski; her grandchildren Joshua (Alicia) Boyark, Megan (Justin) Contento, Alicia (Kyle) Relation, Breanne (Mark) Beliveau, and Erin Lewandowski; great-grandchildren Zapa Boyark and Lucas Relation. Her sister Trisha Natalie; nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In her words, “It’s never goodbye, it’s see you later”—and now it’s our turn to say it to her.
