Stefan Glinski

Rotterdam - Stefan Glinski, 47, passed away on Wednesday, July 27th, 2016 at St. Peter’s Hospice Inn. Born in Albany, Steve was the son of the late Chester and Doris (Howder) Glinski. For 25 years, Steve travelled the world as an NDT inspection specialist for General Electric. He was very proud and devoted to his profession and took special pride in mentoring new technicians. Steve was a die-hard Boston Red Sox fan and loved the Rolling Stones and Aerosmith. Besides his parents Chester and Doris, Steve is predeceased by two sisters, Francis Irene and Kimberly Marie. Steve leaves behind his siblings, Lee Collins, Karen Quinn, Frank Glinski, Chett Glinski and Marnie Glinski, as well as several nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his beloved pitbull, Dozer. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, August 2nd from 6-9pm at DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Ave., Rotterdam. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday morning at 10am at the funeral home. Interment will be in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery in Niskayuna.
