Scotia - Ann Marie (Cribbs) Esperti, 78, of Scotia, passed away Wednesday November 12, 2014 at home after a long battle with Lou Gehrig's disease. Born on January 17, 1936 in Pleasant Mount, PA, Ann was the daughter of Arthur and Elizabeth (Burke) Cribbs. Ann was a 1953 graduate of Draper High School. She went on to work as a cook for the Scotia Bowling Lanes and also was a clerk for Corino's Market in Scotia. Ann retired from Salisbury Chevrolet where she was a title clerk. Ann is survived by her husband, Salvatore, whom she married on August 27, 1955 at the former Our Lady of Assumption Church in Rotterdam. Five sons; Robert (Lisa) Esperti, Thomas Esperti, Michael Esperti, Joseph Esperti and Richard (Sindy) Esperti. Seven grandchildren; Pasquale, Jacqueline, Morgan, Megan, Taylor, Jacob and Abigail Esperti. Four sisters; Helen Horwedel, Pauline (George) Kowalczyk, Rita (Kenneth) LaBelle and Bernice Parillo. Ann is also survived by her sister-in-law, Mary Jane Esperti along with several nieces and nephews. Along with her parents she was predeceased by her brother, Martin J. Cribbs. The Esperti family would like to thank Pat, Sue, Victoria, Julie, Marsha and Louise in helping with the care of our mother. A Mass of Christian Burial, to which relatives and friends are invited, will be celebrated 11 a.m. Saturday November 29, 2014 at St. John the Evangelist Church, Union St., Schenectady.
