Angelo Rossi

Angelo Rossi, 56, of Guilderland, died unexpectedly on Sunday, July 26, 2020 at Ellis Hospital. Angelo was born in Geneva, Switzerland in 1964 and came to the United States in 1972. He graduated from Draper High School and worked as a self employed mason for several years. He later was employed as Head of Maintenance with Mallozzi’s and most recently with Adam’s Heating and Cooling. Angelo Rossi found great joy in life, he lovedto share thefruits of his labor. No matter if it was in tending to his many gardens tomake sure he had enough to give, baking enough bread for each household almost every single Sunday, or his projects around the home. He alwaystried to make enough, grow enough and have enough room for the whole family. His heart was most full when he was spending time with his family and friends he sincerelyloved. He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Adele (Audi) Rossi, three children; Angelo G. (Claire) Rossi of Rotterdam, Antonio M. Rossi of Duanesburg and Alissa J. Rossi of Guilderland, his parents, Egidio and C. Vincenza Mezza Rossi, one brother; Alfonso (Maryann) Rossi of Colonie, mother in law and father in law; Guiseppe and Maria N Audi, brother in law and sister in law; Maria and Salvatore Mancino as well as aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 11:30am to 1:30 pm at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Ave. Funeral services will begin at the funeral home at 1:30 pm. Entombment will follow at St’s Cyril & Method Cemetery.
